After the outbreak of full-scale war, the Lviv Agrarian Chamber expanded its activities and began to systematically provide humanitarian aid to internally displaced persons and vulnerable groups of the population. Aid was provided not only in the Lviv region, but also in the affected regions of Sumy, Zaporizhia, and Chernihiv.

As part of the cooperation, humanitarian aid was provided in the form of food, hygiene products, essential goods, and equipment (electric generators, chainsaws, power banks) for the population and institutions affected by Russian aggression.
Main results:
1. Project “Ukraine Action-23888S001” (March 7, 2022 – April 8, 2022, amount – USD 4,500.00)
Humanitarian aid in the form of food and hygiene products was provided to those affected in the following settlements:
- Mykolaiv region: Kinburn Spit, Yuzhnoukrainsk city;
- Sumy region: Okhtyrka, Lebedyn, Trostyanets;
- Chernihiv region: Chernihiv district, Kyselivska TG, village of Kyselivka.
The donor was Mercy Corps.

2. Project “Emergency Response in Ukraine, Country Response – 33773S228” (April 22, 2022 – June 22, 2022, amount – USD 48,175.00)
Humanitarian aid in the form of food, hygiene kits, and equipment (electric generators, chainsaws, power banks) was provided to internally displaced persons and institutions in the following communities:
- Nizhyn Military Administration (Chernihiv Region);
- Lebedyn City Council (Sumy region);
- Tavriya Village Council (Zaporizhia Region);
- Teresvyanska Village Council (Zakarpattia Oblast);
- Vapniarka Village Council (Vinnytsia Region).
The donor was Mercy Corps.
Further humanitarian support
The Lviv Agrarian Chamber continued to provide humanitarian aid to affected communities in Ukraine with the support of Mercy Corps Global. Nine territorial communities in the Lviv region that took in internally displaced persons or were affected by hostilities received comprehensive assistance, including:
- Ukrainian-made food products (cereals, sugar, pasta, flour, oil, stewed meat, cookies, honey sticks, coffee);
- cleaning and disinfecting agents, hygiene products;
- bed linen, household goods and household items;
- equipment and tools (electric generators, chainsaws, thermoses, etc.);
- medicines and other necessary items.
