The Lviv Agricultural Chamber, as part of the Institutional Food Programme of the United Nations World Food Programme and with the support of Lviv City Council, will hold an educational and informational event (training session) at the Centre for Social Support for Orphans, Children Deprived of Parental Care and Internally Displaced Persons on the topic: ‘Information session on employment and business opportunities for affected populations and the empowerment of women’, which will take place in Lviv, on 23 August 2024 at 11:00.
The aim of the event is to raise awareness among the affected population, particularly women, regarding employment and business development opportunities. The event aims to empower women by providing them with up-to-date information and practical advice to support their socio-economic recovery. The main focus is on supporting women facing difficult life circumstances to help them find their place in the labour market or start their own business.
The event will focus on providing the practical knowledge and skills necessary for successful employment and entrepreneurship, and will familiarise participants with the UN WFP Institutional Food Programme and measures to prevent sexual exploitation and abuse.
