On 18 April, a team from the Lviv Agricultural Chamber once again visited 11 institutions in the Zolochiv and Lviv districts, delivering food as part of the Institutional Catering Programme.
One of the institutions that receives this aid every month is the ‘Ridny Dim’ children’s home run by Zolochiv Town Council in Lviv Oblast.
The director of the children’s home, Nataliia Petrivna Tamchuk, is genuinely delighted with the assistance provided. “There are currently 25 children living in our home, 12 of whom are internally displaced persons. The facility is funded from the budget of the Zolochiv City Council. As some of our children are internally displaced persons, providing food for all the children in the facility requires additional funding. We are grateful to the Lviv Agrarian Chamber, which, in cooperation with the UN World Food Programme (WFP), provides food aid, expanding the range of food available to our children. This contributes to the healthy development of our children and helps them feel at home. Thank you!” said Ms Tamchuk.
The Lviv Agrarian Chamber remains committed to its mission of providing assistance and support to all institutions and communities where vulnerable groups live and are fed, particularly during Russia’s military aggression against our country. Consequently, the Chamber’s task is to create a safe and secure environment for these groups.
