19 March 2024 The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted Resolution No. 300 ‘On Amendments to the Procedure for the Use of Funds Allocated in the State Budget to Provide Support to Farms and Other Agricultural Producers’.

The new document expands the scope of state support for farmers registered in the State Agricultural Register and increases the amounts of payments. In particular, budgetary funds will be provided in the following areas and in the following amounts: the budgetary subsidy for farmers cultivating up to 120 hectares of agricultural land has been increased from 3,100 hryvnias to 4,000 hryvnias per hectare; a separate budgetary subsidy for farmers from de-occupied territories and those territories where hostilities have ceased will amount to 8,000 hryvnias per hectare; a special budgetary grant for the maintenance of cattle (cows) of all productivity categories for farmers keeping between 3 and 100 cows will amount to 7,000 hryvnias per head; a special budgetary grant for the rearing of breeding stock of goats and/or sheep provides for a payment of 2,000 hryvnias per head for those keeping between 5 and 500 head.

Applications for budgetary assistance will be accepted by the State Agrarian Register from 1 May to 30 June 2024
