From 1 to 13 June, the Lviv Agrarian Chamber organised the distribution of feed for pigs and chickens in the Gnizdychiv, Stryi, Hrabovets-Dulib, Raliv, Biskovychi, Staryi Sambir, Strilky and Dobrosyn-Maheriv territorial communities.
These are internally displaced persons who have suffered from Russia’s military aggression in Ukraine, as well as families who have taken in IDPs and are engaged in agricultural activities
The municipal and settlement councils of Hnizdychiv, Stryi, Hrabovetsko-Dulib, Raliv, Biskovychi, Staryi Sambir, Strilky and Dobrosynsko-Maheriv actively participated in the distribution of feed.
The feed distribution took place as part of the project ‘Emergency Food Security and Assistance to People Affected by the Conflict in Lviv Region’, which has been implemented in Lviv Region by the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations (FAO) for the second consecutive year. Feed was received by over a thousand households keeping pigs and chickens in 31 local communities.
