The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved amendments to Resolution No. 1165, which sets out the procedure for suspending the registration of tax invoices and adjustment calculations in the Unified Register of Tax Invoices.

This was announced by Danylo Getmantsev, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy, on Telegram, according to the news site agronews.ua.

He noted that the amendments are aimed at reducing the percentage of suspended invoices and simplifying administrative procedures for taxpayers.

In particular, the amendments to the government document provide for:

· automatic registration of tax invoices/correction calculations in the event of a taxpayer being removed from the list of high-risk taxpayers upon fulfilment of certain conditions stipulated in the suspension procedure;

· automatic registration of suspended tax invoices/correction calculations if a decision is made to recognise the tax credit, provided certain conditions are met.

· The amendments to the resolution also establish:

· a mechanism for administrative appeal against decisions to include a taxpayer on the list of high-risk taxpayers and to disallow tax credit;

· if a taxpayer is included in the list of high-risk taxpayers, the effect of the decision to recognise the TPP is automatically suspended, but not revoked, which relieves the taxpayer of the need to revisit the issue of re-recognising the table after being removed from the list of high-risk taxpayers.
