On December 4, at the Lviv Polytechnic National University, on the initiative of the National Research Fund of Ukraine, the Matchmaking event “Success Formula: Science + Business” was held, which was attended by the president of the Lviv Agrarian Chamber, Pavlo Muzika, the head of the chamber, Ihor Vuytsyk, and the authorized representative of the Turkiv community Oleksiy Degtyarenko.
Professor Yaryna Yaremchuk, vice-rector of Lviv Polytechnic University, addressed the participants with a welcoming speech, who noted the importance of the university’s activities in the implementation of modern project initiatives.
Representative of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine Hryhoriy Mozolevych described in detail the ministry’s initiatives in cooperation with European partners to support innovative activities in higher education institutions.
Executive Director of the National Research Fund of Ukraine Olha Pototska presented the fund’s main activities in support of research initiatives.
Director of the Department of Economic Policy of the Lviv Regional State Administration, Vadym Tabakera, described the support programs from the regional budget for promising project initiatives that contribute to the achievement of competitive advantages by enterprises at the regional level.

The important attention of the participants was given to highlighting the experience of the LUKE Knowledge Center, which functions to support the stakeholders of the innovation spiral – representatives of government, business, science and civil society, disseminating relevant information about EU policy.
The head of the Lviv Agrarian Chamber, Ihor Vuytsyk, together with the LAP team took an active part in matchmaking at the negotiation table No. 10 on the search for agribusiness partners. Vuytsyk spoke about the experience of implementing project initiatives within the framework of the Horizon Europe program with the participation of the Lviv Polytechnic University and Interreg NEXT with the participation of the Lviv National University of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology. S.Z. Gzhitskyi. Colleagues shared the successful experience of involving partnerships of universities and scientific institutions of the EU to solve issues that are relevant for producers of agro-food complex and rural areas.
Important attention of all speakers of the event was paid to highlighting information about the preparation of clear and interesting pitches that promote cooperation between science and business.
