For the one and a half year activity of the Lviv Agrarian Chamber within the framework of the World Institutional Nutrition Program the UN Food Program (WFP) managed to provide significant support to socially vulnerable categories of the population of Ukraine.

248,620 beneficiaries from eight regions of the country received food kits with a total weight of 1 482.9 tons worth more than UAH 62 million. These resources have become a tangible help for internally displaced persons, people with disabilities, large families, single elderly people and other vulnerable groups who needed support in wartime conditions.

During the final meeting of the team of the WFP UA Lviv office and the Lviv Agrarian Chamber, which took place on 8 On August this year, the head of the Lviv Agrarian Chamber, Ihor Vuytsyk, expressed his sincere gratitude to the management of WFP UA in Ukraine, and in particular the coordinator of the Lviv office of the program Natalia Kolomiets, specialists Ruslan Fogel and Olena Trush for their significant contribution to helping the needy and constructive cooperation during the implementation of the Institutional Nutrition Program.

Words of gratitude were also addressed to the employees of the Lviv Agrarian Chamber from Lviv and Ternopil offices, which daily joined this humanitarian mission. Their dedicated work, active communication and coordination of joint actions with the WFP office and territorial communities have become a guarantee of the effectiveness of the program.

“This mission is not just giving out products. It’s a show of solidarity, care and support for those who need it most right now needs. We will continue this work, because the humanitarian front is as important as any other,” emphasized Ihor Vuytsyk.

The Lviv Agrarian Chamber and the UN World Food Program confirmed their intention to continue to provide stable support for Ukrainians in difficult times.
