Today, November 29, volunteers of the Lviv Agrarian Chamber Anna Kushchak and Ihor Muzyka, with the assistance of BO “The Charitable Foundation “Warm City” handed over another batch of humanitarian aid to the Communal Institution of the Lviv Regional Council “Multidisciplinary Educational and Rehabilitation Center of St. Nicholas”.
This institution cares for 247 children from special needs not only from the Lviv region, but also from other regions of Ukraine. Children live, study and undergo rehabilitation there. 70 children from orphanages of the Mykolaiv region, who were evacuated in the first days of Russia’s military aggression against Ukraine, found shelter in it.
The Lviv Agrarian Chamber has been taking care of the St. Nicholas Multidisciplinary Training and Rehabilitation Center since the beginning of hostilities and knows his needs. This time, the humanitarian cargo consisted of a variety of cleaning and hygiene products. These are – washing powders, mops, soap, toilet paper, means for washing dishes, and sanitary ware and floors, buckets, as well as means for disinfecting surfaces. The rehabilitation center uses a lot of detergents due to its specifics, so this batch of humanitarian aid will supply the facility for several months.
Charitable assistance was provided within the framework of the “Shelter Ukraine” initiative, which is implemented thanks to SILab Ukraine and ChildFund Deutschland and Aktionsbündnis Katastrophenhilfe. The goal of the project is to help internally displaced Ukrainians affected by the war.
