U on Friday, November 4, another meeting of the Board of the Lviv Agrarian Chamber was held.

  On the meeting discussed issues related to the Chamber’s humanitarian activities, expansion of cooperation with scientific institutions and organizations of civil society and business, as well as issues of current work and tasks for the next period.

In particular, with information on the implementation and expansion of humanitarian activities of the Agrarian Chamber Chairman of the Board Ihor Vuytsyk spoke. The speaker focused on expanding the circle of donor partners that help the Chamber in providing various forms of humanitarian assistance to those in need. In particular, it was about the new social project “Peace – Bread of Peace” which the Lviv Agrarian Chamber is implementing together with the non-profit social cooperative Pausa Café (ITALY). As part of this project, in October of this year, 72 small farms received humanitarian aid in the form of winter wheat seeds and a mixture of herbs.

  Also in October, the Chamber launched a new Project of the Organization of United Nations, acting through its Office of the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UGCS) within the framework of “Support to civil society organizations (CSOs) for the provision of intersectoral emergency assistance to IDPs and conflict-affected persons in Ukraine”  for  support of the Representation of the Danish Refugee Council in Ukraine. As part of this project, the chamber will provide humanitarian aid in the form of food kits to internally displaced persons and victims of war in 10 territorial communities of Chernihiv and Sumy regions.

   Ihor Vuytsyk informed the board members that in October two memorandums were signed on cooperation – with the Institute of rural farms Carpathian  region National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine and from LLP “Legal Company, Buryak, Koval and Partners”.

   President of the Chamber of Music Pavlo spoke about the progress of preparations for the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Lviv Agrarian Chamber, about the work of the headquarters and tasks for the near future.
