June 13, 2022 p. The President signed the Law of Ukraine dated February 17, 2022 No. 2073 “On Administrative Procedure”.

The law introduces uniform rules of relations between authorities and citizens and businesses, ensures the citizen’s right to express his position and be heard by an administrative body, as well as a clear and consistent description of the procedure for appealing decisions, actions or inaction of authorities.

The law contains a set of basic principles that should guide administrative procedures in all areas, and its provisions can be positive examples (especially regarding the trend towards de-bureaucratization and simplification of administrative procedures).

The entry into force of the provisions of the Law on Administrative Procedure is foreseen after one and a half years from the date of its publication. Accordingly, it will come into effect on December 15, 2023.
