March 31 – April 1 The Institute of the City and the Lviv City Council plan to hold the All-Ukrainian Forum of Local Self-Government in Lviv for the ninth time. This year, the event, which will take place in a mixed format, will become a platform for discussing the most important challenges and changes in the field of local self-government.
Every year the event takes place in the city and brings together mayors, representatives of city councils, deputies of all levels and experts. The forum becomes a center for discussions of challenges and prospects for the development of cities and towns of Ukraine, as well as an environment for exchanging experiences and opinions of local self-government leaders, experts and representatives of ministries. At the event, the pros and cons of the stages of the decentralization reform, current changes to the laws of Ukraine, reforming the development financing process and new opportunities are discussed.
