On July 3, at the initiative of the Department of Agro-Industrial Development of the Lviv Regional State Administration, events were held to mark the International Day of Cooperatives.

For this purpose, in the Lviv Region, on the basis of the Production Cooperative “Yak Bzhola” in the village of A scientific and practical seminar “Cooperation in the agrarian sector of Western Ukraine: success stories” was held in Bolozhynov.

Deputy of the Lviv Regional Council Yury Radelytsky addressed the participants of the seminar with a welcome speech.

The president of the Lviv Agrarian Chamber Pavlo Muzyka, adviser to the head of the Lviv Regional State Administration Halyna Bordun, representatives of the cooperative association “Rivnopravnist”, regional agricultural producers, scientists of the Lviv National Agrarian University and the S.Z. Lviv National University of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology took part in the seminar with a speech. Gzytsky   

Representatives of the department of agro-industrial development of the region noted that already this year two cooperatives received 400,000 hryvnias from the regional budget out of the planned 1.2 million hryvnias.       

The cooperative specializes in organic berry growing and cultivation of essential oil crops.
