On March 23, a meeting of the Public Council at the DPS of the region took place with the participation of the head of the board of the Lviv Agrarian Chamber Ihor Vuytsyk.

During the meeting of the Public Council, the deputy head of the State Department of Internal Revenue Service in the Lviv Region, Maria Melnyk, presented the report of the Main Department on the activities and results of the tax service of the Lviv region in 2020. 

According to the information of tax officials of the region, in 2020 the tax service ensured the collection of taxes and fees to the general fund of the State Budget of Ukraine in the amount of almost UAH 14 billion. 

In 2020, in terms of basic taxes, the fulfillment of the indicative indicators for receipts to the general fund of the state budget for corporate income tax by 109.0 percent (+ UAH 123 million), tax on the income of individuals and military service by 105.6 percent (+ UAH 232 million), value added tax by 102.5 percent (+ UAH 134 million), rent for the use of subsoil by 107.8 percent (+ UAH 91.5 million) and others.

In 2020, tax payments to local budgets in the amount of 14.9 billion hryvnias were ensured by the State Tax Administration in the Lviv region. 

As of January 1, 2021, 194,920 business entities, including 15,266 VAT payers, were registered with the DPS State Administration.

As part of the meeting of the public council, the issue of the dynamics of payment for land in OTG region was also discussed.
