The State Service of Ukraine on Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre is starting the development of the draft law “On Land Consolidation” and calls on Ukrainian farmers, representatives of agricultural companies, land owners and all those interested to join the work on changes to the legislation”, – said the Head of the State Geocadaster Roman Leshchenko.

this is not enough to run an economically successful and rational modern economy. The laws of economics “dictate” the need to consolidate excessively fragmented agricultural lands.

The state geocadastre is already developing the necessary legislative framework for this – first of all, the draft Law of Ukraine “On Land Consolidation”.

“Consolidation in our understanding is not about megaholdings. Consolidation is primarily about the creation of viable family-type farms that, with the work of their members, provide the highest added value per unit of area, farms that should become the social basis of a new prosperous Ukrainian village,” Roman Leshchenko emphasizes.
