On May 6, another online seminar was held in Lviv Oblast for the united territorial communities of the region with the aim of informing representatives of local self-government bodies about legislative innovations.
The seminar was initiated by the Western Interregional Department of the Ministry of Justice (Lviv), the Lviv Agrarian Chamber, the Department of Agro-Industrial Development of the Lviv Regional State Administration, and the representation of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Commissioner for Human Rights in the Western Region.
The president of the Lviv Agrarian Chamber, Pavlo Muzika, the head of the LAP board, Ihor Vuytsyk, took part in the seminar with thematic speeches. The representatives of the local self-government bodies of the region – Radekhiv OTG, Solonkiv OTG, Gnizdychiv OTG, Murovan OTG and Chukvyan OTG received actual information as part of the discussion.
As part of the seminar, issues of changes to land legislation, steps to provide legal assistance in drawing up title documents for land plots, protection of property rights, lease (sublease) of land and others were discussed.
According to the information of specialists of the Western interregional administration of the Ministry of Justice, the existing online services of the Ministry allow to effectively protect the rights of citizens and farmers.
Current information about state support programs for farmers was presented at the seminar by Yuliya Shopska, Director of the Department of Agro-Industrial Development of the Lviv Regional State Administration.
The participants of the seminar noted in their reports that raising the legal awareness of citizens is one of today’s priorities and will create prerequisites for the dynamic economic development of the OTG region.
