On March 13, a meeting on the development of the agro-industrial complex of the region was held under the chairmanship of the head of the Lviv Regional State Administration Maksym Kozytskyi.

Participating in the meeting were representatives of the public, head of the board of the Lviv Agrarian Chamber Ihor Vuytsyk, representative of the LAP in the Kamianka-Buzka district Dmytro Moroz.

The Director of the Department of Agro-Industrial Development of the Lviv Regional State Administration informed about trends in the development of the industry in 2019 and at the beginning of 2020. 

In particular, 44 agricultural cooperatives are registered in Lviv region, and in terms of the volume of production of gross agricultural products in 2019, the region ranks 14th in Ukraine.

In addition, in 2019, the right to lease 195 plots with an area of 2.7 thousand hectares was sold at land auctions in the region. 

Representatives of the public expressed their own proposals for the dynamism of the development of the agricultural sector of the region within the framework of the meeting.
