On June 11, 2026, a working meeting of representatives of the main partner of the AGRI-BIOCIRCULAR-HUB project – Lviv Polytechnic National University and the project partner – Lviv Agrarian Chamber took place. The meeting was attended by the head of the Lviv Agrarian Chamber Ihor Vuytsyk and experts Anna Kushchak, David Kravchenko and Maria Kovalko. The main partner was represented by Myroslav Malyovany, professor, head of the Department of Ecology and Sustainable Nature Management, project coordinator; Ivan Tymchuk, scientific director of the project; Volodymyr Zhuk, technological project manager. The participants of the meeting discussed the results of the recent information events organized within the framework of the AGRI-BIOCIRCULAR-HUB project. In particular, the Lviv Agrarian Chamber held a separate informative webinar for Ukrainian participants of the open competition in a mixed format, and also joined the international webinar of the project consortium for participants from Ukraine, Poland and Latvia, which was held in English in an online format.
The purpose of the event was to acquaint representatives of small and medium-sized businesses, startups, and innovation teams with the possibilities of an open competition, conditions for participation, and practical recommendations for preparing high-quality and competitive applications. Within the framework of the open competition, the 12 best projects – four projects in each of the participating countries (Ukraine, Poland and Latvia) – will receive grant funding in the amount of 50,000 euros each. In addition to financial support, the winners will have access to mentoring programs, training events, an international expert network and opportunities to develop their own innovative solutions. The webinars were attended by representatives of Ukrainian enterprises, farms, startups and innovation teams interested in implementing modern solutions in the field of agro-bioeconomy. The main goal of today’s working meeting was to plan the next stage of support for potential applicants from Ukraine. The partners discussed the organization of a specialized educational webinar for Ukrainian SMEs and startups, which will be devoted to the practical aspects of preparing and submitting applications for the competition, and also decided on the calendar of events for June.
