Who we are

About the Lviv Agrarian Chamber

The Lviv Agrarian Chamber is an independent, democratic, self-regulating civil society institution established on the principles of voluntariness, electivity, self-governance, equality before the law, absence of financial interest among its members (authorised representatives), transparency, openness and public accountability. The Chamber operates in one of the key sectors of Ukraine’s economy – agriculture.
The Chamber consists of a central body, representatives in each district, and authorized representatives of the Chamber—one representative from each territorial community. The highest governing body is the general meeting of authorized representatives—73 members of the Chamber. The general meeting of the organization elects the President of the Agrarian Chamber, two Vice Presidents, the Chairman of the Board, and the Audit Commission for a term of five years. The Chamber’s Board consists of 10 authorized representatives. The Chamber is the founder of the All-Ukrainian Association of Agricultural Chambers, which unites 18 agricultural chambers from most regions of Ukraine.
