On February 21, in Lviv, on the initiative of the Ukrainian Association of Lessors, a seminar “How to obtain leasing financing for small and medium-sized businesses of the Lviv region” and a fair of offers of leasing companies was held.

 Agricultural producers of the region, chairman of the board of the Lviv Agrarian Chamber Ihor Vuytsyk, representative of LAP in Peremyshlyansky District Taras Martynyak, business representatives, head of the Association of Farmers and Private Landowners of the region Yaroslav Kardash, members of the Commission on Rural Development and Agro-Industrial Policy of the People’s Council of Lviv took part in the seminar. regional state administration. 

The director of the Department of Agro-Industrial Development of the Lviv Regional State Yulia Shopska and the vice-president of the Lviv Chamber of Commerce and Industry Volodymyr Korud addressed the participants of the seminar with an opening speech.

As part of the seminar, Deputy Director of the Department of Agro-Industrial Development of the Lviv Regional State Administration Lyudmila Goncharenko presented information about the regional program of support for agricultural producers in the region, in particular regarding the compensation of leasing payments for farmers.

The head of the Agrotem farm (Pustomytivskyi district) Iryna Temchyshyn spoke about the successful experience of leasing agricultural machinery.

As part of the seminar, the issues of financial leasing for agricultural producers and possible legislative innovations were discussed. Maryna Masich, Director General of the Ukrainian Association of Lessors, presented information on the dynamics of the equipment leasing market in 2019 and described information about leading companies. The general director of Tecom Leasing company Pavlo Mukhin told the participants of the seminar about the positive experience of leasing agricultural machinery, elevator equipment, lines for freezing vegetables and fruits, etc. to farmers.
