On 28 November, an educational and informational event entitled ‘Agricultural Production and Rural Development: Priorities during the preparatory phase for EU accession. Practical aspects for farmers’ took place in Ukraine.
This event was organised by the EU project “Institutional and Policy Reform of Small-Scale Agriculture in Ukraine” (IPRSA) in cooperation with other international technical assistance projects and programmes, and with the support of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
One of the speakers at the event was Hanna Hnativ, a representative of the Lviv Agrarian Chamber, who outlined the latest information on land lease legal relations in agriculture: practical advice during martial law
In her speech, Hanna Hnativ highlighted the most pressing issues, particularly regarding the entry into force of land lease agreements and the calculation of the term of such agreements. Thus, the term of a land lease agreement begins from the moment the agreement is concluded, and not from the moment of state registration, unless otherwise specified by law or the agreement. If, however, the agreement is notarised at the parties’ request, the term begins from the moment of its notarisation.
