On March 6-7, a delegation of the Assembly of Agrarian Chambers of Ukraine, a representative of the Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine got acquainted with the experience of supporting the development of farming at the level of the Lublin Voivodeship of the Republic of Poland.
The Ukrainian delegation led by the head of the AAPU Ihor Vuytsyk, the heads of the regional Agrarian Chambers visited the Lublin Voivodeship Administration (Lublin).
The Lublin Voivodeship is the third largest voivodeship in Poland. The voivode is the representative of the Council of Ministers in the voivodeship, performs the duties of the chairman of the unified government administration, in particular the Voivodeship Veterinary Service Inspectorate in Lublin. The voivode also checks the legality of decisions made by local self-government bodies.
The next meeting of the AAPU delegation took place with the leadership of the Zamoyski District in the Lublin Voivodeship.
Stanislav Grzechko, the mayor of the Zamoyski County, told the representatives of the AAPU about the organization of the county’s activities on the development of local self-government, areas of cooperation with farmers for the development of rural areas, functions of the administration, implemented development projects, etc.
