Farmers and the military once again received humanitarian aid

March 5 2026

On March 5, the Lviv Agrarian Chamber (LAP) received powerful electric generators from its Polish partners – the editors of TOP AGRAR POLSKA magazine. This humanitarian aid came within the framework of the “Together for Ukraine” program, which has been in effect since 2023. A total of 7 electric generators will arrive. On March 5, the first three of this batch were received.

The board of the Lviv Agrarian Chamber distributed this important equipment to small farms and the military. This time, the generators received two family farms, namely:

– Family farming, natural person-entrepreneur Karpets Andriy Omelyanovych, from the village of Leshniv, Zolochiv district;

– Family farming, individual entrepreneur Zvarych Ihor Petrovych, from the village of Bovdury, Zolochiv district;

The third generator was sent to one of the military units. It will serve the soldiers – artillerymen fighting on the south-eastern line of defense.

Four more generators will arrive next week. The delivery of generators from Poland was provided by the member of the board, vice-president of the Chamber Oleg Beyzyk with his own transport.

“The Lviv Agrarian Chamber does a very important job for small farmers. I have 20 cows on my farm. Without electricity, even milking is difficult, not to mention cooling and storing products before sale. And there was no light for 16 hours a day. That is why generators are absolutely necessary. Many thanks to our Polish friends, the Lviv Agrarian Chamber for such strong support of farming,” said Ihor Zvarych.

It should be noted that during the “Together for Ukraine” program, the editors of the TOP AGRAR POLSKA magazine purchased and handed over to the Lviv Agrarian Chamber 28 electric generators worth more than UAH 2,300,000.00.

“For four years already, thanks to the cooperation with the editors of the magazine TOP AGRAR POLSKA, which is headed by Karol Buyochek, the Lviv Agrarian Chamber has been able to provide significant assistance to small farms, military units, and social institutions of the front-line territorial communities of Sumy and Chernihiv regions. We highly appreciate the contribution of our partners from Poland in ensuring the energy security of Ukraine and we hope that the humanitarian program “Together for Ukraine” will continue to operate in order to support the economy and social sphere of Ukraine during the war,” noted the head of the LAP Ihor Vuytsyk.
