on September 23 at the Lviv Agrarian Chamber, which is the main partner of the international project “Protection of biodiversity of the cross-border territories of Ukraine and Poland from invasive populations of borscht (Heracleum)”, financed in within the Poland-Ukraine Interreg NEXT Program,a working meeting was held with partner 1 – the team of S. Z. Gzhitsky Lviv National University of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology.
Participants discussed the issue of preparing two promotional events: presentation visits to 9 territorial communities of Lviv region and holding the opening international conference “Practical application of methods of influence on the population of borschivna to restore biodiversity in the cross-border territories of Ukraine and Poland”. As a result of the meeting, joint actions and the distribution of tasks between both partners were agreed upon. 
The Main Partner team was represented at the meeting by Ihor Vuytsyk – project manager; Hanna Kushchak, communications manager and Davyd Kravchenko, procurement manager.
Partner 1 joined: Oksana Ovchinnikova – project manager, and a group of project executors – scientists Bohdan Gulko, Hanna Korpita, Volodymyr Balkovsky. Also present Kateryna Yankovska – head of the international department of the university.
“The joint work of the scientific and agrarian community is key to the effective fight against invasive species of plants that threaten the ecosystems of our regions,” said project manager Ihor Vuytsyk. 
The meeting once again confirmed the importance of partnership and became the next step in the preparation for joint activities aimed at protecting the environment and preserving the biodiversity of the cross-border territories of Ukraine and Poland.
