As part of the ‘Together for Ukraine’ humanitarian initiative, organised by our Polish partners Top Agrarian POLSKA and the Lublin Chamber of Agriculture (LIR), farms in the Lviv region and the Dmytrivska territorial community in the Chernihiv region have received aid in the form of FOGO FH 9000 TE generators.
Such support is critically important for ensuring the uninterrupted operation of the agricultural sector under martial law and power supply disruptions, particularly during the winter months, as noted by Ihor Vuytsyk, Head of the Lviv Agrarian Chamber, at a meeting with farmers on 31 January 2024.
Thanks to the efforts of Oleg Beizik, Vice-President of the Lviv Agricultural Chamber, we have managed to organise the delivery and handover of another batch of modern generators, which will enable farmers to ensure the uninterrupted operation of their farms in the event of emergency power cuts.
Since the start of the full-scale Russian aggression, the Lviv Agrarian Chamber has also been providing humanitarian aid to communities in need located in the immediate vicinity of the combat zone. One such community is the Dmytrivska territorial community. The community is constantly experiencing power cuts. The availability of autonomous power sources will ensure the stable operation of the community’s critical institutions during this difficult time for Ukraine. It was with this request that its head, Valentyn Boiko, approached us.

Mr Piotr Kurancz, Director of the Lublin Chamber of Agriculture (LIR) branch in Zamość, noted in his address that supporting Ukrainian farmers is a key priority for Polish partners, as the agricultural sector forms the foundation of Ukraine’s economic stability. He also noted that kindness always has a way of coming back, as our cooperation has been ongoing for over 25 years. “We fully understand the challenges faced by Ukrainian farmers. This aid is not merely short-term support, but a contribution to our future.”
Pavlo Muzyka, President of the Lviv Agricultural Chamber, thanked his Polish colleagues for their solidarity and humanitarian support for Ukraine and emphasised the importance of further cooperation in the fields of humanitarian aid, agriculture and the environment. We hope that the ‘Together for Ukraine’ programme will continue its activities aimed at supporting Ukrainian rural communities.
This initiative once again demonstrates that the joint efforts of our friends and partners help us to persevere even in the most difficult times.
