The active phase of implementation of the “Feed distribution for domestic animals and poultry” component of the “Emergency food security and assistance to people who suffered from the conflict in the Lviv region”.
Today, April 5, the implementing partner of the project – the Lviv Agrarian Chamber – held distribution of fodder for pigs and chickens in Glynyaska, Rava-Ruska and Sokalska territorial communities. 132 households received fodder. These are internally displaced persons who suffered from Russia’s military aggression in Ukraine, as well as families who accepted IDPs and conduct agricultural activities.
Organizational work on the delivery and distribution of fodder was carried out with the active support of local self-government bodies and authorized of the Lviv Agrarian Chamber.
It should be noted a very good organization of the feed distribution process in the Rava-Ruska territorial community under the leadership of the first deputy mayor Roman Zanek and with the active participation of Neli Teglivets, chief specialist of the city council’s economy and investment department. Thanks to their efforts, the distribution of fodder was extremely efficient and coordinated.
Sokal City Council was the most active at the stage of preparing data on beneficiaries for receiving fodder, so the community received the largest amount of fodder – more than 23 tons. Transportation and distribution of fodder was handled by the deputy head of the city Oleg Oliinyk and the head of the villages of Volitsa and Komariv Olha Savka, who took care of creating decent conditions for the transfer of fodder to the residents of the community. For this, we owe them great gratitude and respect.
Special thanks for the significant contribution to ensuring the delivery and distribution of fodder in the Glynyan Territorial Community of Martyniak Taras, the authorized representative of the LAP, the head of the Etalon-M farm, as well as the head of the PAF “Bily Stik” Oleg Ivanchyna for providing the warehouse premises for the distribution of fodder to the beneficiaries of the Sokal Territorial Community.
Please note that the distribution of fodder took place within the framework of the project “Emergency food security and assistance to people, who were affected by the conflict in the Lviv region”, which has been implemented in the Lviv region by the Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations (FAO) for 2 years in a row. The project is intended to cover thousand households that keep pigs and chickens in 31 territorial communities.
