In January, volunteers of the Lviv Agrarian Chamber delivered to the village Silver of Chernihiv region 215 humanitarian kits for families of internally displaced persons.
The set includes food products for long-term storage and hygiene products. This is the second flight as part of the humanitarian mission to Chernihiv Oblast. A total of five communities in the region were selected to provide such assistance.
Representatives of the Lviv Agrarian Chamber organized, formed and delivered the Humanitarian Kits, and the Sribnian Village Council prepared lists of aid recipients, informed everyone about the time and place of receiving this aid, organized the delivery point. Coordinated joint actions of the Sribnyan settlement council and the Lviv Agrarian Chamber provided good results. All people who were included in the lists came to the distribution point and were promptly able to receive food and hygiene products.
It should be noted that last December humanitarian aid was also delivered and distributed in the villages of the Ivanovo Territorial Community for 162 families who moved to Chernihiv region from the zone of active hostilities and 53 families of local residents who suffered from the war in Ukraine.
For 5 months, the Lviv Agrarian Chamber will provide humanitarian aid in the form of food and hygiene kits to 2,000 families of internally displaced persons and local residents affected by military actions in 10 territorial communities of Chernihiv and Sumy regions.
The assistance is provided by the Lviv Agrarian Chamber in partnership with the Danish Refugee Council (DRC) with the financial support of the Humanitarian Fund for Ukraine (UHF).
