On February 9, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved Resolution No. 102, which ensures effective state control by the State Production and Consumer Service over the activities of operators in the field of organic production, circulation and labeling of organic products. Such a decision is aimed at increasing the responsibility of producers for filling the market with high-quality organic products.

The resolution will allow the State Production and Consumer Service to apply uniform criteria by which the degree of risk from the operator’s activities in the organic sector will be assessed.

In addition, the resolution approves the Procedure for determining the frequency of implementation of planned measures of state control of operators. Also, by the decision of the Government, the form of the act of categorization of the operator’s capacity was approved, which will be drawn up annually by inspectors of the territorial bodies of the State Production and Consumer Service.
