On February 20, farmers of the Lviv Region took part in the reporting and election conference of the Association of Farmers and Private Landowners of the Region.
The conference was attended by the heads of regional associations of farmers of Lviv, Volyn and Poltava regions, deputy director of the department of agro-industrial development of the Lviv Regional State Administration Lyudmila Goncharenko, members of the Commission for Rural Development and Agricultural Policy of the Public Council under the Lviv Regional State Administration, the president of the Lviv Agrarian Chamber Pavlo Muzyka, LAP commissioners from Sambir and Busky districts Ivan Kilgan and Anatoliy Byts, farmers.

In the framework of the conference, the head of the Association of Farmers and Private Landowners of the Lviv Region, Yaroslav Kardash, reported on the activities of the association in recent years. Important questions at the conference related to the possible opening of the agricultural land market.

Deputy director of the department of agro-industrial development of the Lviv Regional State Administration, Lyudmila Goncharenko, in her speech, informed farmers about filling in the Agrarian Register, the state support program for agricultural producers for 2020, support for agricultural formations from the regional budget.
In his speech, LAP commissioner Ivan Kilgan noted the importance of control by farmers and the public over the spending of taxes paid within the framework of the OTG, as often the high salaries of the management staff of the OTG do not coincide with the poor state of community infrastructure.
The participants of the reporting and election conference re-elected Yaroslav Kardash as the head of the Association of Farmers and Private Landowners of the Lviv region for the next term.
