In February of this year, the Lviv Agrarian Chamber visited two territorial communities with a humanitarian mission. These are the Novgorod-Siversk community of the Chernihiv region and the Novoslobodsk community in the Sumy Oblast.
In the Novgorod-Siversk community, the Lviv Agrarian Chamber distributed food kits to vulnerable categories of the population and to those who suffered from the war. Mrs. Evgenia also received help.
She moved with her family to the city of Novgorod-Siversky in August 2014, leaving native home in Krasnoy Lucha (since 2016 Khrustalnyi) Luhansk region. Since the spring of 2014, the city has been a territory not under the control of the Government of Ukraine.
Now Evgenia and her husband are renting an apartment and have no information about the property they left in Luhansk region. They are retired and in a difficult financial situation. Due to a small pension, the family often cannot buy enough products for a full meal.
“I am sincerely grateful for the received humanitarian aid, which will be a good relief for the family budget,” he says. Ms. Yevgenia.
Mrs. Olena has five children aged from 3 to 16 years. Escaping hostilities, her family moved in January 2023 from the city of Gremyach, Chernihiv region. This area is regularly attacked.
Now Olena lives in the city of Novgorod-Siverskyi. Her husband, who works as a school teacher, remained at home despite the shelling. Olena considers the stolen childhood of her children to be the greatest sorrow that this war brought to her family.
Being in a difficult situation, she was sincerely comforted by receiving kits with products and remedies hygiene Such sets are very helpful for a large family to survive difficult times.
