Hospitals are joining the Institutional Catering Programme

March 30 2024

In March 2024, healthcare facilities in the Lviv region took an important step towards improving patient care and ensuring the efficient use of resources.

Many hospitals have joined the Institutional Food Programme, which is being implemented in partnership with the UN World Food Programme and the Lviv Agrarian Chamber.

This comprehensive approach to providing meals for patients was made possible by the participation of the following institutions:

– Boryslav Central City Hospital,

– Municipal Non-Profit Enterprise “Territorial Medical Association” Stryi City United Hospital,

– Lviv Regional Hospital for Rehabilitation No. 3,

– Lviv Regional Infectious Diseases Clinical Hospital,

– Lviv Regional Clinical Hospital,

– Lviv Regional Public Healthcare Institution “Lviv Regional Oncology Treatment and Diagnostic Centre”,

– Lviv Territorial Medical Association “Multidisciplinary Clinical Hospital for Intensive Care and Emergency Medical Assistance”.

The targeted programme has enabled hospitals to receive food supplies for patients on a monthly basis. The Institutional Food Programme initiative opens up new opportunities to optimise hospitals’ food costs and ensures high-quality care for patients. We are sincerely grateful to the UN World Food Programme for its support, which helps our hospitals provide high-quality medical services to patients.
