Lviv Oblast became a pilot region for the delivery of a humanitarian batch of “Elite” potato seeds of the “Agria” variety from France.
We received this cargo thanks to prompt work:
- Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine

- Ministry of Agriculture of France
- Embassies of France in Ukraine
The Lviv Agrarian Chamber helped organize the distribution of potatoes among 20 small producers in the region.
Potatoes will be planted on an area of about 40 hectares with the aim of obtaining the seed crop of the first reproduction already this year.
In just a couple of years, these seeds will allow to increase the production area under food potatoes in Lviv region by more than 1000 hectares.
