At the initiative of the authorized representative of the Lviv Agrarian Chamber, expert advisor Volodymyr Kysil, a meeting was held in the office of the Chamber with the management of the company Akpadon-Agro LLC – Oleksandr Kychak and Volodymyr Voytov. These are Ukrainian seed producers who offer farmers sunflower and corn seeds of high quality at a favorable price.
The main areas of the company’s activity.
- Selection and cultivation of high-yield hybrids of sunflower and corn.
- Seed refinement at our own modern plant in Moldova and at partner plants in Ukraine.
- Sale of high-yield seed material on the territory of Ukraine and abroad.
In the presentation, Mr. Oleksandr Kychak emphasized that the company offers farmers:
- sunflower seeds of own selection, as well as joint with French and American partners;
- corn seeds of domestic selection and exclusive varieties from Maîsadour Semences.
Technological base
The company owns a seed processing plant equipped with modern equipment from the Danish company CIMBRIA HEID GmbH, where seeds are brought up to DSTU standards. “Akpadon-Agro” has been working in the agrarian niche since 2004 and during this time has gained recognition as a producer of high-quality seed material. The company is constantly expanding the areas of hybridization, creating new hybrids with increased yield and resistance to diseases. In particular, breeders obtained sunflower hybrids resistant to seven races of lupus (A–G).
Quality and consultation
Seeds undergo multi-stage control: cleaning, sorting, calibration, treatment with fungicides, insecticides and growth stimulants. This ensures a high level of germination and compliance with state standards, which is confirmed by quality certificates. The company’s specialists provide advice to farmers on the selection of hybrids, cultivation technologies (classical, Express, Clearfield), taking into account climatic zones and soil characteristics.
Sales geography
You can buy sunflower and corn seeds at sales offices throughout Ukraine. The products are also exported to Serbia, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Moldova, Azerbaijan and Poland.
Chairman of the Lviv Agrarian Chamber Ihor Vuytsyk, summing up the meeting, noted: “Today, our farmers need high-quality seed material and the introduction of new technologies. That is why we will support such producers of Ukrainian seeds”.
