Today, 16 May, a working meeting took place between Igor Vuytsyk, Head of the Lviv Agrarian Chamber, and his deputy Anna Kushchak, and Vasyl Khimyak and Diana Kodrova, representatives of the Lviv office of the Interreg NEXT Poland–Ukraine 2021–2027 Programme.
During the meeting, they discussed strategic and current issues regarding the implementation by the Lviv Agrarian Chamber of the project ‘Protection of biodiversity in cross-border territories of Ukraine and Poland from the hogweed population’ (NoHeracleumUA&PL), which, on 18 April 2024, following a decision by the Programme’s Monitoring Committee, was selected as a winner based on the results of the call for proposals under the ‘ENVIRONMENT’ priority.
In particular, the meeting addressed the timeframe for preparing and signing the Grant Agreement and the Partnership Agreement with the lead partner, as well as the preparation of a plan for implementing future events and tasks under the Project; registration, financial and procurement procedures were also discussed.
At the end of the meeting, representatives of the Lviv Agrarian Chamber received information materials on the activities of the Interreg NEXT Poland–Ukraine Programme 2021–2027 and were briefed on the results of previous projects.
