A new initiative in humanitarian aid from the Lviv Chamber of Agriculture

April 19 2023

On 19 April 2023, representatives of the implementing partner, the Lviv Agrarian Chamber, with the support of the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations (FAO), visited the Mostyska and Yavoriv territorial communities on a humanitarian mission.

As part of the project, which will cover 11 local communities in the Lviv region, 439 beneficiaries from these two communities have already received their voucher certificates, each worth 12,000 hryvnias. These certificates can be used in the Epicentre K shopping centre chains to purchase work equipment, building materials and other goods within the relevant category.

The aim of the project is to improve food security in the region and communities, so the organisers are grateful to the Mostyska and Yavoriv City Councils for their active participation in its organisation.

Ihor Vuytsyk, Chairman of the Lviv Agrarian Chamber, noted the high level of interest shown by local communities in the project and expressed hope for further cooperation in carrying out its objectives.
