On March 17, at a meeting of the Public Council, the head of the DPS Department in the Lviv region, Mykola Nikityuk, presented a public report on work during 2025. Mykola Nikityuk briefly focused on the receipts to the state and local budgets, the results of the activities of the Main Directorate and its separate structural units, the state of work on providing taxpayers with administrative services, and communication activities with civil society institutions and business associations. The head of the tax service of the Lviv region answered the questions of the participants of the event, in particular, about the structure and shares of revenues to the local budgets of the territorial communities of the Lviv region, the Lviv territorial community. At the meeting of the Public Council, a discussion was held regarding the use of mediation in tax disputes, as an alternative way of settling disputes with the involvement of an intermediary – a mediator. “At the end of our report on the results of the work of the Main Directorate, I want to express my gratitude to the taxpayers, civil society institutions of Lviv Oblast, who in this difficult and tragic time for our country continue their activities and pay taxes and fees conscientiously – they support the state in repelling the enemy. The work results announced in this report are primarily the merit of the citizens and business entities of Lviv Oblast. As for communications with institutions of civil society, the direction declared by the leadership of the DPS of Ukraine regarding the openness and transparency of the service is a priority in our work, this can be evidenced by the significant number of events held together with business associations, the Civic Council, and taxpayers,” concluded Mykola Nikityuk. In addition to its members, representatives of the territorial bodies of the Association of Taxpayers of Ukraine, the Association of Employers of Ukraine and the Danish Business Association, as well as the heads of structural subdivisions of the Main Department, took part in the meeting of the Public Council at the State Department of the DPS in the region.
