Financial assistance of the General Mandatory State Social Insurance Fund in the event of unemployment in the amount of UAH 6 billion is provided for by the Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 308 of April 27, 2020. The funds will be directed in two directions: partial unemployment assistance – UAH 4,723 billion and unemployment assistance in the amount of UAH 1,277 billion.

To submit documents and receive partial unemployment benefits, employers must contact the employment center at the place of payment of the single contribution. 

After passing all the procedures specified by law, an agreement is signed between the employment center and the enterprise, which defines the procedure for the receipt of funds to the employer’s account and the payment of partial unemployment benefits to employees for the period of quarantine.
