The HORIZON-WIDERA-2023-ACCESS-07-01 project was launched in Lviv Oblast: “A Center of Excellence for Smart Agriculture and the Circular Bioeconomy towards a sustainable agri-food sector that expands domestically (and beyond)”, AGRI-BIOCIRCULAR-HUB.
The project is financed by the European Commission, the total amount of financing will be 5.9 million euros. The implementation of the project is planned for 2025–2028. The main coordinator of the project is Lviv Polytechnic National University.
Lviv Agrarian Chamber, which is a partner in the project HORIZON-WIDERA-2023-ACCESS-07-01 participated in the launch conference of the project, which was held in Poznan (Poland) from January 22 to 25, 2025. The conference was organized by the Poznań University of Natural Sciences (Uniwersytet Przyrodniczy w Poznaniu). 21 partners from Ukraine, Poland, Latvia, Spain and Belgium took part in the conference. The purpose of the conference was to bring together partners with experience in ecosystems and bioeconomy to establish and strengthen ties between academia, business, government and society aimed at implementing the Project’s objectives.
Financial manager Maria Kovalko from the Lviv Agrarian Chamber participated in the conference. During the presentation of the Project partners, Maria Kovalko presented the main areas of activity of the Lviv Agrarian Chamber, and also described the tasks that will be implemented during the implementation of the Project. The main focus will be on finding farms working on the implementation of reuse and recycling of organic waste from agricultural production, and providing micro-grants for the successful implementation of their ideas. height=”741″>
