In the days leading up to Christmas, the Department of Agro-Industrial Development of the Lviv State Regional Government organized a wonderful event – the Christmas craft and carol fair. The event brought together masters of folk art, producers of craft products, and communities striving to preserve and develop Ukrainian traditions. A special Christmas magic reigned at the fair: carols sounded, visitors had the opportunity to taste traditional dishes, buy handmade products and get acquainted with new craft products from local producers. Each of the more than 50 stands was not only a trading platform, but also a cultural business card of the region.
The event was attended by Pavlo Muzyka, president of the Lviv Agrarian Chamber, Ihor Vuytsyk, head of the chamber, and Dmytro Solomonko, editor-in-chief of Visnyk AgroForum. During the meetings, the leaders of the chamber noted the importance of combining economic development with cultural heritage, because it is precisely such measures that form a new ecological and social culture of the Ukrainian village. The fair became an example of how an agricultural community can integrate cultural and economic initiatives. Craft products presented at the event demonstrate the potential of local producers, and carols and folk performances demonstrate the spiritual strength of the community. Thanks to the organizers for the invitation. Source.
