On 9 June, a meeting of the Board of the Lviv Agrarian Chamber was held. During the meeting, the organisation’s activities over the reporting period were reviewed.

     Ihor Vuytsyk, Chairman of the LAC Board, outlined the organisation’s areas of activity, including its humanitarian initiatives and those of farmers in the face of current challenges. Ihor Vuytsyk noted that since the start of full-scale Russian military aggression, the Lviv Agrarian Chamber has managed to become one of the key implementing partners in providing humanitarian aid to the rural population and small-scale farms in our region. Since the start of this year alone, the Chamber has provided assistance to 3,150 rural households across 40 amalgamated territorial communities in Lviv Oblast, over 2,000 households in Chernihiv and Sumy Oblasts, and shelter for IDPs. The total value of the aid amounts to over 30 million hryvnias. (This includes feed for broiler chickens and pigs, agricultural and construction equipment for beneficiaries engaged in agricultural activities, seed potatoes, as well as food and hygiene kits, and products from craft producers).

    Discussions were held regarding preparations for the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the revival of the Lviv Agrarian Chamber.  

    During the Board meeting, LAP President Pavlo Muzyka presented certificates to the advisers and expert advisers of the Lviv Agrarian Chamber who had completed thematic training (or further professional development) and successfully passed their exams at the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine in May–June.

LAC President Pavlo Muzyka extended the organisation’s congratulations to Mr Oleg Myronovych Beizyk, Vice-President of the LAC, on the occasion of his anniversary.
