AgriFood Regional Forum was held in Lviv

On October 21, the AgriFood Regional Forum was held in Lviv, which, with the support of the European Institute of Technologies (Budapest, Hungary), brought together specialists from different countries of the world.

Participation in the forum was taken by the head of the board of the Lviv Agrarian Chamber Ihor Vuytsyk.

As part of the forum’s speeches, Professor Nazar Podolchak of Lviv Polytechnic University noted the importance of implementing a balanced agricultural policy based on innovation to further increase the competitiveness of agricultural producers on the world market.

Deputy Director of the Department of Agro-Industrial Development of the Lviv Regional State Administration Lyudmila Honcharenko in her speech emphasized the financial instruments of budgetary support for the development of agrarian business in the region.

As part of the forum, participants from EU countries talked about modern approaches to ensure the production of healthy food products, modern digital solutions for the food industry and the activities of agro-food industry clusters. Considerable attention of the speakers of the forum was devoted to the consideration of tools to support the development of start-ups in the agro-food industry.
