On March 5, 2026, the representative of the Lviv Agrarian Chamber Ihor Vuytsyk took part in an extended meeting of the Department of Economics and Business at the Ivan Popovych Agricultural Complex, Faculty of Management, Business and Public Administration of the S.Z. Lviv National University of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology. Gzhitskyi. The event was dedicated to the 74th anniversary of the Department of Economics and the Development of Modern Approaches to the Training of Agricultural Specialists in the Conditions of Transformation of the Educational Space.
Participants of the event were scientists, students, masters and postgraduate students of the university, advisors of the agrarian sphere, as well as representatives of state and public institutions, who joined the professional discussion on the prospects for the development of agrarian education, science and practice.



In his speech, Ihor Vuytsyk, representing the Lviv Agrarian Chamber, emphasized the importance of forming an effective platform of cooperation between farms, educational institutions and the business environment. Special attention was paid to the need to implement innovative models of the organization of agricultural production, the development of analytical support for socio-economic transformations, and support for the processes of European integration of the agricultural sector of Ukraine. He also emphasized the importance of practice-oriented training of specialists, the development of modern educational approaches and the formation of an environment of academic integrity.
During the meeting, issues of cooperation between science, the state and the agricultural sector were discussed in detail. Lyudmila Goncharenko, director of the department of agro-industrial development of the Lviv regional state administration, presented the report “Cooperation of science, education and the state in the European integration of the agrarian sector.” The speech emphasized the importance of the synergy of state policy, scientific research and practical needs of agricultural production.
Also, the participants listened to the speeches of Pavel Muzika, doctor of economics, professor, president of the Lviv Agrarian Chamber, who outlined the strategic role of the organization as a key platform for the development of farms and rural areas, Khrystyna Kulgavets, associate professor and commissioner for the prevention and detection of corruption, who focused on issues of integrity in higher education institutions, and Vasyl Kuzko, director of the Lviv branch of the Ukrainian of the Institute of Plant Varieties Expertise, who spoke about the importance of varietal resources for ensuring the country’s food security.
Participants of the event noted the importance of intersectoral cooperation, regular offline meetings and the development of partnerships between universities, businesses, public structures and authorities as the basis for the sustainable development of agricultural education and the economy of Ukraine.
