A pilot project will be carried out in Ukraine to verify entities within the agro-industrial sector under martial law. The relevant decision was approved by Resolution No. 1132 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated 31 October this year.
‘To agree to the proposal of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food to implement, from 1 November 2023 to 31 December 2024, an experimental project for the verification of entities in the agro-industrial complex under martial law, which provides for the creation of a list of verified entities in the agro-industrial complex that export goods classified under the following codes in accordance with the Ukrainian Classification of Goods for Foreign Economic Activity (UKT ZED): 1001, 1002, 1003, 1004, 1005, 1201, 1205, 1206 00, 1507, 1512, 1514 and 2306”, the text of the resolution states.
The document also approves the Procedure for implementing the aforementioned project.
“The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food, the State Customs Service and the State Tax Service shall, within the limits of their powers, ensure daily electronic data exchange within three working days of this resolution coming into force,” the document states.
It is also noted that the export licensing regime under Resolution No. 1132 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated 31 October 2023 shall not apply to project participants “where a foreign economic entity is included in the list of verified entities of the agro-industrial complex”.
