On January 26, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted a draft resolution “On Amendments to the Procedure for Using Funds Provided in the State Budget to Provide State Support to Agricultural Producers Using Reclaimed Land.”

The Cabinet of Ministers determined that state support in the amount of up to 25% of the costs (excluding VAT) will be provided to agricultural producers who use machinery and equipment of domestic production, or purchased from domestic producers, and conduct agricultural activities using hydrotechnical reclamation.

 This decision will support domestic engineering for the agro-industrial complex, which in turn will ensure the development of irrigated agriculture in conditions of climate change.
