The main focus was on improving farmers\u2019 market position and promoting the long-term development of their farms.<br \/><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-full wp-image-3070\" src=\"https:\/\/agrochamber.lviv.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/2701.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1070\" height=\"857\" \/><br \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 8pt; line-height: 22px; font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; color: #000000;\"><span lang=\"RU\" style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">The Chairman of the LAC, Ihor Vuytsyk, presented the activities of the Lviv Agrarian Chamber in several key areas, particularly regarding support for farms and participation in international projects. He spoke in detail about the LAC\u2019s cooperation with the UN World Food Programme, under which the Institutional Food Programme is being implemented.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 8pt; line-height: 22px; font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; color: #000000;\"><span lang=\"RU\" style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">The LAC Chairman also highlighted the social project \u2018Bread for Peace in Ukraine\u2019, which aims to support small-scale agricultural producers engaged in livestock farming and cereal cultivation. The project is being implemented through a partnership with the social cooperative Pausa Caf\u00e9 (Italy) and the Lviv Regional State Administration and contributes to the sustainable development of rural areas. Particular attention was paid to the LAP\u2019s participation in the<\/span> <span lang=\"UK\" style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">project<\/span><span lang=\"RU\" style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"> \u2018Protection of biodiversity in the cross-border territories of Ukraine and Poland from the hogweed population\u2019 (NoHeracleumUA&amp;PL). This project, in which the LAC acts as the lead partner, aims to preserve ecosystems and protect biodiversity from invasive species that pose a threat to the region\u2019s environment.<\/p>\n<p>A representative of the Lviv Agrarian Chamber<\/span><span lang=\"UK\" style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">,<\/span> <span lang=\"RU\" style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Davyd Kravchenko,<\/span> <span lang=\"RU\" style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">briefed those present on the support measures available to farmers in the field of milk production <\/span><span lang=\"UK\" style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">and<\/span><span lang=\"RU\" style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"> processing<\/span><span lang=\"UK\" style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">.<\/span> <span lang=\"UK\" style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">In conclusion, he spoke about upcoming grant programmes from the FAO, the EU and <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">USAID<\/span> <span lang=\"UK\" style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">AGRO, and encouraged farms to participate actively in them.<br \/><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-full wp-image-3071\" src=\"https:\/\/agrochamber.lviv.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/1702.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1091\" height=\"818\" \/><br \/><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-full wp-image-3072\" src=\"https:\/\/agrochamber.lviv.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/2703.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1143\" height=\"857\" \/><br \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 8pt; line-height: 22px; font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; color: #000000;\"><span lang=\"RU\" style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Ivan Pankiv, Director of the LADS Charitable Organisation, explained how farmers can join the \u2018Services for Effective Dairy Herd Management\u2019 <\/span><span lang=\"UK\" style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">project<\/span><span lang=\"RU\" style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">, funded by the USAID AGRO Programme.
