The aim of the training was to involve aid recipients in programme decisions to make food aid more effective. Participants learnt how the Institutional Food Programme works, the mechanisms for distributing aid, who is eligible for such aid, and how to provide feedback on the Programme to its implementers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 8pt; line-height: 22px; font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; color: #000000; text-indent: 35.4pt;\"><span lang=\"UK\" style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Ihor Vuytsyk, Head of the Chamber, briefed those present on the activities of the Lviv Agrarian Chamber, which directly delivers food to all participants in the Institutional Food Programme, and spoke about the priorities of the UN World Food Programme regarding support and assistance for those in need.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 8pt; line-height: 22px; font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; color: #000000; text-indent: 35.4pt;\"><span lang=\"UK\" style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Monitoring and Protection Officer Davyd Kravchenko emphasised that the Institutional Food Programme is based on approaches tailored to the needs of vulnerable groups. \u00a0As the Programme directly impacts the quality of life of people in need, it is important that they actively participate in decision-making, expressing their views and suggestions on the matter. The way to engage communities is by giving them the opportunity to provide feedback on the Programme, or to submit a complaint or suggestion.
