text-indent: -36.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l4 level2 lfo3; margin: 0cm 0cm .0001pt 36.0pt;\" align=\"left\"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><i><span lang=\"UK\" style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; line-height: 150%; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">persons in respect of whom, in accordance with the Law of Ukraine \u201cOn the Social and Legal Protection of Persons Deprived of Their Personal Liberty as a Result of Armed Aggression against Ukraine, and Members of Their Families\u201d, the fact of deprivation of personal liberty as a result of armed aggression against Ukraine has been established, following their release;<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"a0\" style=\"text-indent: -18.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l1 level3 lfo2; margin: 0cm 0cm .0001pt 54.0pt;\"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang=\"UK\" style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Wingdings; mso-fareast-font-family: Wingdings; mso-bidi-font-family: Wingdings;\"><span style=\"mso-list: Ignore;\">\u00a7<span style=\"font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';\">  <\/span><\/span><\/span><!--[endif]--><span lang=\"UK\" style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">long-term unemployed persons, i.e. those who have been registered as unemployed for more than 6 months.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"a0\" style=\"margin-top: 0cm; text-indent: 35.4pt; line-height: 150%;\"><span lang=\"UK\" style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;\">Employment period:<\/span><span lang=\"UK\" style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\"> not less than two years. <span style=\"mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;\">The total duration of<\/span> compensation <span style=\"mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;\">payments<\/span> to the employer is 12 months over a two-year period.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom: 6.0pt; text-indent: 35.4pt; line-height: 150%;\"><span lang=\"UK\" style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;\">Amount of compensation: the sum of <\/span><span lang=\"UK\" style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">the single contribution actually paid, but not exceeding twice the amount of the minimum single contribution.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\">\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst\" style=\"margin-bottom: .0001pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\"> but not exceeding the minimum wage. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle\" style=\"margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; line-height: 150%;\"><span lang=\"UK\" style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; mso-bidi-font-style: italic;\">The programme <\/span><span lang=\"UK\" style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">persons<span style=\"color: black; mso-color-alt: windowtext; background: white;\"> with disabilities who have not reached the retirement age established by Article 26 of the Law of Ukraine \u2018On Compulsory State Pension Insurance\u2019;<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle\" style=\"margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-indent: -18.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l2 level1 lfo4;\"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang=\"UK\" style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Symbol; mso-add-space: auto; text-indent: -18.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l2 level1 lfo4;\"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang=\"UK\" style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Symbol; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;\">applies to employers who, on the recommendation of the employment centre, employ citizens <\/span><span lang=\"UK\" style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">who have been registered as unemployed for more than one month, from among:<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle\" style=\"margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-indent: 0cm; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l3 level1 lfo5;\"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang=\"UK\" style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;\"><span style=\"mso-list: Ignore;\">&#8211;<\/span><\/span><!--[endif]-->                     <span lang=\"UK\" style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: black; mso-color-alt: windowtext; background: white;\">young people under 25 years of age, whose insurance record is less than 12 months;<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle\" style=\"margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-indent: 35.4pt; line-height: 150%;\"><span lang=\"UK\" style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">Partial unemployment benefit is provided to insured persons (employees and self-employed individuals) in the event of a loss of part of their wages (income) due to the suspension (reduction) of production (performance of work, provision of services) for the following reasons: economic or technological reasons, the occurrence of an emergency, the introduction of a state of emergency or martial law, or the imposition of quarantine.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-indent: 35.4pt; line-height: 150%;\"><span lang=\"UK\" style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\"><span style=\"mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;\">Insured persons are<\/span><\/span><span lang=\"UK\" style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; color: black; mso-color-alt: windowtext;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/zakon.rada.gov.ua\/laws\/show\/264-2023-%D0%BF#Text\"><span style=\"color: #002060;\">Organisation of vocational training for registered unemployed persons<\/span><\/a><\/span><span lang=\"UK\" style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: black; mso-color-alt: windowtext; font-weight: normal; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;\"> at the request of employers <span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\"><\/span>(Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 264 of 24 March 2023). <\/span><\/h1>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-indent: 1.0cm; line-height: 150%;\"><span lang=\"UK\" style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">The State Employment Service has its own network of modern vocational and technical education centres, which train specialists in 95 skilled trades and 335 educational programmes. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-indent: 1.0cm; line-height: 150%;\"><span lang=\"UK\" style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">Upon completion of their training, students are issued a state-recognised certificate confirming the relevant qualification.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-indent: 1.0cm; line-height: 150%;\"><span lang=\"UK\" style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">Currently, the dual form of training is in vogue, which aims to organise 70% of the training process at enterprises, directly in the workplace.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-indent: 36.0pt; line-height: 150%; margin: 0cm -7.1pt .0001pt 0cm;\"><span lang=\"UK\" style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">To maintain the competitiveness of certain categories of citizens, <a href=\"https:\/\/zakon.rada.gov.ua\/laws\/show\/207-2013-%D0%BF#Text\"><b><span style=\"color: #002060;\">training is organised using vouchers<\/span><\/b><\/a> (Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 207 of 20 March 2013), which are provided<\/span><span lang=\"UK\" style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-language: UK;\"> in accordance with <span style=\"color: black; mso-color-alt: windowtext; background: white;\">a list of professions and specialisations<\/span> approved by <span style=\"color: black; mso-color-alt: windowtext; background: white;\">the Ministry of Economy.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-indent: 36.0pt; line-height: 150%; margin: 0cm -7.1pt .0001pt 0cm;\"><span lang=\"UK\" style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-language: UK;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-indent: 36.0pt; line-height: 150%; The main requirement for receiving funds is the creation of new jobs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-indent: 1.0cm; line-height: 150%;\"><span lang=\"UK\" style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">A new grant programme for veterans was launched on 10 April 2023. From now on<a href=\"https:\/\/diia.gov.ua\/services\/grant-dlya-veteraniv-ta-chleniv-yihnih-simej\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">, combatants, their family members, and persons with war-related disabilities<\/a> can apply for a state grant to start or develop their own business (<span class=\"MsoHyperlink\"><span style=\"color: #002060;\">CMU <\/span><\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/zakon.rada.gov.ua\/laws\/show\/286-2023-%D0%BF#Text\"><span style=\"color: #002060;\">Resolution <\/span><\/a><span class=\"MsoHyperlink\"><span style=\"color: #002060;\">No. 286 of 30 March 2023)<\/span><\/span>. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-indent: 1.0cm; line-height: 150%;\"><span lang=\"UK\" style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">The programme provides grants in the following amounts:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"margin-top: 0cm;\" type=\"disc\">\n<li class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom: .0001pt; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l5 level1 lfo6; tab-stops: list 36.0pt;\"><span lang=\"UK\" style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">up to 250,000 hryvnias<b> <\/b>can be obtained for a business, provided at least one job is created;<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom: .0001pt; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l5 level1 lfo6; tab-stops: list 36.0pt;\"><span lang=\"UK\" style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">up to 500,000 hryvnias may be received by a family member of a combatant, provided at least two jobs are created. Co-financing under this programme is as follows: no more than 70% is provided by the state, 30% from the entrepreneur\u2019s own funds;<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom: .0001pt; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l5 level1 lfo6; tab-stops: list 36.0pt;\"><span lang=\"UK\" style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">up to 1 million hryvnias can be received by a combatant if they have been registered as a sole trader for at least three years. The main condition is to create at least four jobs, of which at least two must be for veterans or people with war-related disabilities. Here too, funds are provided on a co-financing basis \u2013 70% to 30%.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-indent: 1.0cm; line-height: 150%;\"><span lang=\"UK\" style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-indent: 1.0cm; line-height: 150%;\"><span lang=\"UK\" style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">Applications for grants can be submitted via the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/diia.gov.ua?__tn__=-%5dK*F\"><span style=\"color: windowtext;\"> Diya<\/span><\/a> Portal. A business plan for starting a new business or developing an existing one must be attached to the application.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-indent: 1.0cm; line-height: 150%;\"><span lang=\"UK\" style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">Decisions on the award of grants are made by the State Employment Centre.
