On January 20, 2026, another online meeting was held as part of the implementation of the international project PLUA.01.03-IP.01-0008\/23, which is implemented under the Interreg NEXT Poland – Ukraine 2021\u20132027 program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The following issues were put on the agenda:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1. Meeting with the new head of the project PLUA.01.03-IP.01-0008\/23, from the Interreg NEXT Joint Secretariat Poland \u2013 Ukraine 2021\u20132027, Mrs. Alla Nastych.<\/p>\n\n\n\n2. Reporting Period Discussion: CST 2021 Requirements, Deadlines, and Completion Process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n3. Brief reports of partners on the progress and current state of project implementation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
The main points of the meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mrs. Alla Nastych, project manager from the Joint Secretariat, stopped at the implementation of the first stage. She emphasized that by February 15, 2026, all partners must report on expenses, which must amount to at least 70% of the advance received.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The meeting was moderated by the main partner and project manager Ihor Vuytsyk, head of the Lviv Agrarian Chamber.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Almost all participants of the meeting took part in the discussion: Hanna Kushchak \u2013 project promotion manager, and Davyd Kravchenko \u2013 procurement manager, from the Lviv Agrarian Chamber; Ivan Shuvar – Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Technologies and Environmental Protection, LNU of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology named after S. Z. Gzytskyi; Oksana Ovchinnikova – project manager, LNU of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology named after S. Z. Gzytskyi; Bohdan Gulko – representative of LNU of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology named after S. Z. Gzytskyi and Hanna Korpit, representative of the LNU of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology named after S. Z. Hzytskyi Andrzej Bohnyak – deputy project manager, Lublin University of Natural Sciences; Anna Rysiak \u2013 project manager, Marie Curie-Sklodowska University; Agnieszka Hanaka \u2013 representative of Marie Curie-Sk\u0142odowska University; Michal Skiba – project manager, Lublin Agrarian Chamber; Pyotr Kurants is a representative of the Lublin Agrarian Chamber<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As a result of the meeting, important decisions were discussed and made:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 By January 23, all partners must provide the main partner with a report on the use of funds and their implementation within the framework of public procurement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Each partner must submit a descriptive report on each work package, which will ensure transparency and consistency of project implementation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Reports in the CST 2021 system are necessary for audit control, although they do not directly belong to financial reporting, emphasized Maria Kovalko – chief accountant of the Lviv Agrarian Chamber.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the meeting, a discussion was held to discuss problematic issues, in particular the redistribution of funds within the framework of work packages, difficulties caused by the war (Russian aggression), which make it impossible to obtain satellite images with high resolution, where the location of the borschivnik population would be clearly visible and the search for possible solutions. A compromise has been found.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This meeting was the next step in strengthening cross-border cooperation and confirmed the willingness of partners to work together to protect biodiversity and implement modern methods of combating invasive species.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
