From April 28 to May 2, 2025, as part of the “Democratic Week of the Carpathian Sea” in A large-scale forum is taking place in Truskavets, which is the Ukrainian analogue of the well-known democratic festivals in Europe.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This event, with the support of the Scandinavian countries, brought together politicians, public figures and business leaders to discuss the most pressing issues of the development of democratic processes and international cooperation.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Organizers expect about 2,000 participants every day and up to 8,000 guests in five working days at different locations and pavilions. The program of the forum includes plenary sessions, panel discussions, practical master classes and networking sessions. One of the key topics this year is the development of the agricultural and food sector and ways of its integration into European markets. alt=””>

April 30 Head of the Lviv Agrarian Chamber Ihor Vuytsyk and member of the Board of the Chamber Stepan Yatsykiv took part in the panel block “Challenges of the agrarian and food sector of Ukraine: development and future”. Together with representatives of leading Ukrainian companies, they discussed issues of land relations, increasing production efficiency, attracting investments and implementing sustainable technologies.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among the speakers were:<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maxim Popelniukh (Landgrain LLP), Volodymyr Didenko (Ekor-TZ LLP), Maryna Abramova-Kaluzkykh (head of the enterprise “AgroSa”), Volodymyr Makukh (LLC “Tik-Pak”), Stepan Yatsykiv (head of the farm “Agro-Volya”)<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each participant shared his experience of managing production processes and his own vision of modernization of the industry. The discussion demonstrated a strong interest in cooperation with European partners and the readiness of the agricultural sector to adapt to new challenges.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ihor Vuytsyk presented the main initiatives of the Lviv Agrarian Chamber: Institutional feeding program in partnership with The UN World Food Program, where LAP acts as an implementation partner and carries out activities to provide vitaminized food products from Ukrainian agricultural producers (oil, flour, cereals, pasta, sugar) for regular hot meals of vulnerable population groups, especially internally displaced persons, in 8 regions of Western Ukraine.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite full-scale Russian aggression, Ukraine seeks to integrate into the industrial ecosystems of the EU. The AGRI-BIOCIRCULAR-HUB project will provide an opportunity for the first time to create a Center for the implementation of smart agriculture and circular bioeconomy for the sustainable development of the agri-food sector in developing countries. text-decoration: baseline; white-space: solve the problems that small and medium-sized enterprises face during the implementation of a more cyclical agriculture. font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; white-space: pre-wrap;”> (for example, the use of organic waste and agricultural by-products).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project “Bread for Peace in Ukraine” is implemented with the social cooperative network PAUSA CAF\u00c9S.C.S.SOCIAL COOPERATIVE (Italy). In three years, 220 small farms of the Lviv region joined it. This became an impetus for the creation of family farms, especially the dairy sector, there are now more than 150 of them in Lviv region, but we lack organic certified agricultural products <\/span>Ihor Vuytsyk emphasized this.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
