On the eve of Agricultural Workers’ Day, a meeting was held with Mykhailo Vasylovych Hladiy, one of the key figures behind the revival of the Lviv Agrarian (Farmers’) Chamber, which marked a landmark event for the region’s agricultural community.
During the meeting, organised by the President of the Lviv Agrarian Chamber, Pavlo Muzyka, and its Chairman, Ihor Vuytsyk, Mykhailo Hladiy’s significant contribution to the development of the agricultural sector and his long-standing dedication to agricultural reform were recognised.
Mykhailo Vasylovych Hladiy is one of the prominent figures who stood at the origins of the revival of the Lviv Agrarian Chamber back in the late 1990s. Thanks to his initiative and support, the Lviv Agrarian Chamber was established. Today, the organisation is an important institution influencing the development of agriculture in the region.
At a meeting organised with the participation of the Chamber’s leadership, Mykhailo Vasylovych’s achievements and his contribution to supporting farmers, ensuring food security and developing the farming sector were recognised.
For his significant contributions to Ukraine’s agricultural community, Mykhailo Hladiy was awarded the Lviv Agrarian Chamber’s highest honour – a commemorative award. This award symbolises recognition of his unwavering dedication and long-standing work aimed at improving farming conditions for farmers and the development of rural communities. In presenting the award, the Chamber’s leaders noted that Mykhailo Hladiy has become a role model for future generations, as his life’s journey is a shining example of how one can serve one’s homeland with all one’s heart.
This event was significant not only for Mykhailo Vasylovych Hladiy, but also served as an important inspiration for many farmers who see him as a model of professionalism and patriotism.
